Novosibirsk, Russia, 2008-

Exhibit for Architecture After '95, AD&A Gallery, Osaka, 2009

We proposed a covered pavilion covering an area of 25mx25m using the bending elasticity of white translucent polycarbonate sheet. With the largest standard size of polycarbonate sheet, 2mx4m as a module, each member is bound by at two or more joint, and the role of the roof as a structure, the flow of power and the space under the roof are left to hands making model.
Without analysis using a special calculation or clear concept of form, we think that the process of making models is a cornerstone and changes our architectural representation and communication.
