The duplex house built on 686.4m2 combined residential plots locating near Annaka-Haruna station in Annaka City, Gunma Prefecture. The shared second home locating at a point from each family units is carefully difined by the environmental aspects such as its location, bearings, and sights. The tunnel links each family units while working as an approach control. The opaque wall which surrounds five gardens places a distance for each families to protect privacy.
