| The project proposes a Performing
Arts Center with due considerations to landscape design of the island, land
use considering floods, noise disturbance by the arterial road and the neighboring
railroad bridge in the Nobuel Island, a small island located in the middle
of the Hangang River, Seoul, Korea. The inverted cone-shaped large foyer
contains a opera house, a concert hall, and sub-facilities: a large flat
roof characterizes a "horizontal" and "extensive" perspective
