The redevelopment of a shipbuilding factory nearby locates Kronborg
Castle, Helsingor, Denmark. The project proposes cultural complex combining
a theater with a library on the area of 110000‡u by removing existing
floors and ceilings, preserving exterior walls as walled-in courtyards,
and inserting newly planned buildings in between existing mills: the existing
exterior facade out-in transmutes interior which evokes past landmarks
and recollects image of industrial revolution in 1882. |
