The project is a proposal for
the replacement theater competition in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
The project proposes to maximize visible volumes such as a main hall, other
utilities, a rest room, a changing room, a machine room in the building
core so that surrounding minor halls function as a part of an urban space.
A foyer, a lobby, offices, conference rooms, rehearsal rooms, mutipurpose
rooms are placed in-between larger glass-enclosed volume centering around
the core and the facade so that sectionally demonstrate inside programs,
activities, circulations towards urban life without a glitz or enforcement
