| Architectural Design Competition for National Art Gallery, in Singapore | |||||||
| The project is the extension
proposal for National Art Gallery in Singapore. The new gallery extends
a region of 20% reflecting increased functional requirements with 3 overlaying
concepts on existing contexts of the city and history : 3 layers, `Multi-Functional
Passage' integrating with a building, 'Covered Roof' increasing floor areas,
and 'Crown' developing amenities of a gallery forms a new "salon"
for public amenities in the central distinct of the city. For instance,
the multi-functional passage consisting of a roofed-courtyard on an old
City Hall, underground tunnel, and a main lobby of an old Supreme Court,
connects a museum, a commercial facilities, parkings, a restaurant, a cafe,
