Hobart Waterfront International Design Competition
Honorable Mention, One of the top 7 entries
 
    The project is prized redevelopment proposal for the international competition for a waterfront area, Franklin Whalfl distinct in Hobart City, Australia. The project proposes to float a undulating plate with large openings which adapts to diverse events and its activities on Franklin Whalfl: the plate gently divided by vertical intervals and slopes integrates with a surrounding sea and transforms into a collective place for residents, a source of information for tourists, and a social gathering place for public use. Passengers will perceive multiple events, in such a way as markets, open air concerts, street art, or sporting events, its activities, and its atmosphere through openings of the plate.
